Yeah, it is quiet. Come to find out it's how Valve handles the servers between the internet and custom tabs. Not too pleased about it, but I've found some workarounds. I've changed the map to 2fort as I've received messages that a majority of players had rather play that. But, I'm always open to ideas.

As far as getting locked, meh. Saddly this is what I'm reduced to - to get the word out. Anyways, thanks for the support and look forward to gaming with you all!

Game-Nerds.net (a gaming community) has opened up a TF2 server for those looking for a not too serious; fun time. You may check out our server at:

216.6.235.173

As of now the maps are:
cp_dustbowl
cp_badlands
cp_well
cp_granary
cp_gravelpit
ts_hydro

There are no custom maps at this time, but if there is demand for them, they can easily be implemented.

In game, there are two options to choose the next map:
1) after a certain amount of time a map menu will pop up and you can vote then and after the current map is done, it will automatically load the map that was voted on.

2) type rtv (stands for rockthevote) in chat which will bring up a map voting option. The difference here is the map that wins the vote will automatically stop the current map and load the winning map. Also, if you use rtv and lose the vote, you may not vote again until the next map.

For just some fun type in chat !soundlist and then open your console to see a list of sound triggers in game. Such as typing head will trigger the quake sound .wav file "HEAD SHOT!". Just a heads up, each player is capped at a certain number of sounds they may perform as to prevent spamming.

For game stats, you can either visit the stats site http://game-nerds.hlstatsx.com, or while in game, you may type in the following words in chat to get various statistics:

rank [skill, points, place (to all)] = Current position
kpd [kdratio, kdeath (to all)] = Total player statistics
next = Players ahead in the ranking.
status = Current server status
top20 [top5, top10] = Top-Players
clans = Clan ranking
cheaters = Banned players from Valve-Anti-Cheat
statsme = Statistic summary
weapons [weapon] = Weapons usage
accuracy = Weapons accuracy
targets [target] = Targets hit positions
kills [kill, player_kills] = Kill statistics (5 or more kills)
help [cmd, cmds, commands] = Help screen

As always, we take suggestions, so don't be shy if you think something could use some improvement. Thanks for checking us out!

Meh, I don't care, it's 3 years of free repairs if it breaks. I enjoy my 360, I'd get a PS3, but why spend all that $ for a system that has nothing of notice in the way of exclusives and everything else I can get on 360. FFXIII and MGS4, I'll wait to see reviews on...from the players, not the review sites (sorry, but too many sites bought out to give a 9.5 to game that should get a 6.5).

Right now the only thing PS3 has is Blu Ray and that's nothing more than a glorified DVD player. Sure it beat out HD-DVD, but I'm still not sold that Blu Ray will be around as a media platform 5-10 years from now. So, until I'm proven otherwise...360 has what I need and if it keeps breakin, I'll wear out that warranty.

Only had to replace one 360, had it for about 4 months and it quit on me. It was no big deal though, sent it in for repairs, ended up getting another one back, in all went about 2 weeks without a console. The new one I've had almost a year and never had a problem with it.
