BOOOOO, MS is just trying to force people into buying Vista for this. wtf, WTF, needing Vista to play games in resolutions above 480p, c'mon. Off course it will have higher detailed textures and higher resolution, it's a PC GAME!!! We don't need Vista for this, even though MS is blackmailing us to believie we have to get it. Just make Halo 2 for XP, then I might reconsider getting this game. Even though I'm getting Vista later this year, but WTF, it definately wont be for Halo 2, I'm getting it (and a 8800 gtx) to play Crysis, nothing else. I will boycott Halo 2/Vista. The original Halo also looked a lot better than the Xbox version, did that need Vista? NOOO, off course it didn't, neither would Halo 2, but MS is just trying to milk us PC gamers... LAME!!!!

It's EA nowadays, not Westwood. That is reason enough for me not to pick up this game.

It's impressive that they can improve that much considering that the first GOW was one of the best looking games ever on PS2.
