I have to admit that it is a bit corny. The fact that it's only approximately 11 minutes long is upsetting. It would be nice if it were longer and they actually did reviews instead of skimming over the game. It is a great concept, but concepts need to be perfected.

I'm no good at Frisbee. The main reason is that I refuse to use the automatic setting, because I think that will be too easy.

Since it seems as though you are just starting your library of Wii games, know this. There are a lot of older Wii games that you can get for $19.99 new. You won't see Super Smash Bros Brawl or Super Mario Galaxy for anything less than $49.98 at local retailers though. It's good to get a taste of all the "food groups" though. Just as an example, I have about 13 Wii games, 1 Wii Ware Game, and 6 Virtual Console games for my Wii. Mix it up!

[QUOTE="Sole_"]To answer your GameCube question, yes, the Wii plays those as well, but you'll need either a Classic Controller or GameCube Controller to play them.Pichoro
Not true - classic controllers are not compatible with GC games. What you need to play a GC game is a GC controller and a GC memory card if you would like to save. Classic controllers are useful for VC games, and the very few retail games that support it (such as Brawl or Kart). That's it.

Heh, sorry about that. Pichoro is right about the Classic Controller not working for GameCube games. He is also right about having to have a GameCube memory card if you want to save any progress. Thanks for catching that Pichoro!

I've always wondered about those charging stations. A major drawback that I can see though is that you can't keep the glove on the Wii remote. It may end up being a better buy to go for rechargeable AA's. Think of it this way. you have two Wii remotes with charge station backs on them and you're playing a game with a friend. His battery pack starts to die. You don't have another one charging because to fit in the charge station it need to have the Wii remote to hold it in place. What are you going to do? With rechargeable AA's, this problem is eliminated because the batteries can charge without the Wii remote. Get it?

The component cables really do make a difference. More than anything, they give you a clearer image. I have to agree with TheColbert's comment about Zelda: TP having a lot of jaggies. This is most likely because Zelda: TP was intended for the GameCube, but ported over to the Wii.

I was thinking of buying a new console, but i love mario, zelda, etc (nintendo exclusives). I never played any Game Cube game, they work on Wii right? So, is the Wii worth it?

Lox_Cropek
You have every reason to get a Wii then. Mario and Zelda have great games on the Wii with more to come. To answer your GameCube question, yes, the Wii plays those as well, but you'll need either a Classic Controller or GameCube Controller to play them. The Wii is well worth the money. Even more so now since the price was dropped to $199.99!
