@Deadman_est1982 If I remember correctly didn't Microsoft say that the 15 exclusives would come from Microsoft Studios and that there may be more depending on third party support?? Seeing as this is a third party developer would this even count toward the 8 new ip?? I may be wrong though.
@kiramasaki They kind of are in a position to do so since they produce and publish most of the games that these systems rely on. They could just easily say we are not going to put our games on your system if you do not agree to these terms even though that is a very unlikely to happen.
you know i think both sides would love to each others exclusives come to there systems but exclusive keep the competition going in the companys the more exclusives one side has then the more reason people are going to go to that system but if those exclusive are gone then there is no reason to build different consoles
is it just me or do people who own both a xbox360 and a ps3 have a better understanding of both system cause they arent just playing one system yeah they might choose one over the other but thats because they have had the time to test both systems against each other and see the potential or faults of both systems
yeah maybe if the ps3 prices drop maybe sony will be able to catch up to microsoft cause right now that price tag is just killing sony and i know if the price drops id probably go pick one up and right now i see as i can buy a ps3 for over $400 or i can buy a 360 for $250 which as i can tell graphic wise the xbox is doing just as good or sometimes better
dont think it would be very smart for sony to make a ps4 anytime soon since the ps3 isnt doing as well as the ps2 did and since they have the only gaming console with blu-ray.... i think they could probably stick with the ps3 to go up against the next set of consoles that nintendo and microsoft release plus that would take millions of dollars and they didnt make the kind of profit like they made with the ps2 but that is my opinion.... they are a multi-million dollar company they can afford to make a ps4 if they choose to
i think the reason why they dont ever spend more time with ps3 version is because they want to get every console a chance to experience great multi-platform games like call of duty, dead space, fallout, and many others
you know that if they put the effort into using the ps3 full potental that i have no doubt the it would beat the 360 hands down and when that day comes it will be a big upset for 360 owners but that wont come very soon maybe it will but who knows.... cause im one of the 360 owner who knows that once a developer accually takes the time to use the ps3 engine to the max that the game will look better than anything the 360 could probably put out.... but i still feel that it wont happen very soon but hey who knows i could be wrong and im personally looking forward to that day so hopefully when that day comes ill have a ps3 to play that game on.... watch this comment will be flooded with negative marks by 360 fanboys.... one more thing im still happy to own a 360 dont get me wrong it has a lot of great games like halo 3 (not a big fan but never the less a good game), gears of war (good game) and left 4 dead (dont own it though) and others
am i the only who notice that almost everything gamespot posts that it almost always turns into a fanboy war?? when the article is for the 360, ps3 owners swarm over and start it and when its the ps3 article , 360 owners go over and start stuff... so its not just one side who start it, its both.... the only consoles that seem to stay out of it is wii and pc (but pc owners sometimes flare up)....
