Well, just got done playing through this:). Amazing and very well done. Like someone else was stating, the game is a masterpiece. I love games that make you think and debate that don't hand feed you the answer:). The ending can be interrupted a million different ways:). Definitely a lot of debate to be had. I have my own theories on what exactly happened with everything, but it is interesting hearing other peoples theories :D.
I kind of figured this game would get decent reviews just by watching some of the interviews with Ken Levine. I have to say that it is pretty impressive that all the religious and political themes and what not remained in tact as well it seems without too much compromise as far as I can tell by the review. Sounds pretty bold. I will be picking this up. Anxious to dive into a new BioShock. Good review as well. Kudos.
I am a fan of The Walking Dead tv show so I was thinking about picking this game up. I am glad I looked at the review first and saved myself some money on this hunk of crap lol. Thanks for playing these games so we don't have too :D>
Quantic Dream is another good company that leans toward thinking outside the box:). Don't get me wrong, I love a good shooter now and again but I am an avid rpg fan and prefer a game that has an actual story and meaning trying to be portrayed. Heavy Rain, for example was an amazing work of art. The feelings you got from playing that game was pretty astounding.
To get back on subject about the cover art however, I am happy that they stuck to their guns and refused to have the gun trotting cover. The cover art is a big part of what grabs most people when they are shopping for a game at first and I can see why the gun trotting thing was pitched to possibly get more sales, however id rather see the cover art as something that actually portrays to what the game is about to the best of ability.
Amazing interview:). Always good to hear a developers prospective. I like the fact that he is very honest, and seems like a pretty deep thinker. The world needs more developers like this that think outside of the box. Hopefully we see more developers start opening up like this in the future.
While I have never played nor heard about cyberpunk in any form, including the tabletop game, I have to say that it sounds like a could be interesting. The setting sounds unique and i'm curious to see how the game turns out:). I could be wrong, but it gives off a Deus Ex: Human Revolution vibe to me.
This and Watch Dogs was the best in the lineup that I could see. Considering this was done in real-time..pretty impressive:). Watch dogs held my interest because it seems like a pretty unique concept.
I am going to hold my judgement until I see what Microsoft brings to the table. I am pretty sure that Microsoft will be lagging behind PS4. I wasen't thinking the transition to PS4 from PS3 would be as big graphic wise and it didden't catch me off guard when it wasen't :). Just remember folks, PC will be ahead always and game systems will always lag behind PC by at least a year or two. I am happy at what they announced however for the ps4, a lot of interesting features.
