@analogjunkie24

it might not be a game in the traditional sense but it's a hell of an interactive movie. I'm glad someone is branching out. It's not like all games are moving this way.

I'd be all for it but I think it would alienate a lot of current players, especially in the FPS genre.

it's actually called a xim edge mouse/keyboard converter for consoles. Pretty slick piece of tech.

it doesn't support a mouse, not for games anyway.

seems like a poor way to do it, unless the TVs were 4k. Even at 1080p, sitting that close to a big TV makes it blurry

check out some build guides. They have them all over the internet for budgets ranging from $600 to $1500. That's how I got started.

I guess I fit the definition of hermit if that means people who play their PC on their TV in the living room lol. I just use a wireless kb/m and a small laptop tray. Works pretty good actually.

no argument here. PCs have a higher buy in price but this whole idea that you have to upgrade every year is ridiculous. That is only if you want the latest tech. I upgrade every 3 years or so and even that is unnecessary if you are satisfied with last gen visuals.

They both have their place, which is why I also have a PS3.

If the Steam Box supports the Oculus Rift then that could be a major selling point. I don't see why it wouldn't.

haha, you upset there buddy? Different opinion got ya a bit touchy?

I wouldn't put the low end Steam Box over $600, most likely going to be $500. Oculus Rift also has 300+ games already working on it, including a ton of AAA games and it's not even out yet.
