@ninboxstation: Consider the fact that you're comparing a yearly crap-tastic release title (Assassins Creed) to one of the most recycled sandbox games ever (the Fallout series since Bethesda got hold of it) and then insultingly comparing them to one of the only RPGs in the last 10 to 15 years to actually build a story over multiple games (The Witcher 3). Looting in games should have died years ago, it can't be widely accepted to the point of where it's almost ALL YOU DO in so many RPGs of today.

@whirlwind12: How many more times can Bethesda continue to make broken games on launch day, have these broken games filled largely with meaningless fetch/side quests but most importantly how come people STILL BUY THEM?!?!?!

Agree 100% man, gamers across the world need to wake the hell up and actually comprehend what their money goes towards when they buy garbage.

@tomenigma: It's a Bethesda game! Since they started off they have released broken game after broken game. Ironically they are loved by so many gamers...kind of ironic, right? Bugs and Bethesda are forever linked by their poor QA and clearly apathetic QA teams who continue to let these go unchecked for almost thirty years with literally every game they've put out.

"Though many of the secondary quests amount to dungeon raids or fetch quests"

Is it fair to ponder why the bulk of RPG games these days are still largely comprised of way too many fetch quests and dungeon raids? Main quests are generally 1/4 to 1/3 of the game and much of what is left are quests that have little to do with the worlds that are created. Bethesda creates large worlds filled with this crap time and time again...it's a real shame. It's like eating a burger and then another burger from the same place but this time they put green food coloring in the beef; yet one complements its taste above the first burger, knowing fully that it tastes the same.

@greaseman1985 Honestly...when you play PES games FIFA cannot compare to the fluidity and realism. I buy FIFA unfortunately because of the licensing which I hope changes soon because FIFA is not a quality soccer/football game any more.

@khankalili @monktheking @Sjalasvalten Absolutely. The unnecessary cost of video game marketing these days is ridiculous. Just look at E3 or PAX 5 or 10 years ago and the evidence is clear. It'll change once gamers spend their money a little more wisely.

@madbrad07 I'm not criticising you at all. It's like people who love over-the-top action movies...you don't expect a good story BUT with Destiny we did and that's a real shame.

@madbrad07 Not caring about the story is a huge misstep by so many gamers these days and it's disappointing that great developers like Bungie don't try to focus more on storytelling as they've done so in the past.
