This shows is one of the best not just on Gamespot but on any gaming site. To see it go is a real bummer.

Right about now is when Johnny'd say, "Bummer? I barely know her!" Good times, good times...

I think you guys have officially worn out the "I hardly know her" gag. I mean, seriously; not only was that one unprompted, it didn't even make sense.

They should write episodes based on conceits like this more often; the continuity between jokes was both impressive and satisfying.

It probably would have been a good idea for these guys to have researched the previous reveals before doing this one. It's a little embarrassing when they treat news from months ago as if no one had ever heard of it.

@genjuroT When you think about it, though, games like God of War and especially Devil May Cry draw they're inspiration from the old-school Castlevania games, so to say that Konami is just ripping of those games is a bit of an oversimplification. That style of gameplay is just the logical evolution of the castle-crawler genre; other than sticking with side-scrolling, there aren't many other ways to capture the classic Castlevania feel in a modern title, though I'd admittedly like to see them move more in the direction of Dark Souls.

I feel like sites that do game reviews would benefit from adopting the kind of process used by Rotten Tomatoes: aggregating their own miniature Metacritic score from the opinion of three or four "top critics." Not necessarily four different videos; maybe something more like four written reviews, a video compiling the viewpoints, and then a score derived from the reviews. Not only would this keep the entire site from being slammed for one guy's stance (although said guy doesn't really deserve to be "slammed" in the first place; at the worst, he should be strongly disagreed with), but by taking into account multiple opinions, sites would be able to provide a more accurate representation of the different perceptions of "quality" that exist in the gaming community. No matter how good something is, you can't please everyone (unless you're, like, The Godfather or something), and even if a game is pleasing 99% of the ones, it'd still be nice if there were someone to speak for that 1%. Having a system like that could increase site traffic, too, since people wouldn't have to go check the reviews on five different sites just to get some perspective. Of course, this would probably take a lot more time and effort, so it wouldn't be surprising to find out there's no feasible way for Gamespot or any other site to conduct multiple reviews. Just wishful thinking.
Lastly, GENESIS DOES WHAT NINTENDON'T. NEW CONSOLE SEGA REVELATION WILL ROCK E3, ALONGSIDE NEW HANDHELD, SEGA FIRST THESSALONIANS.
