Update, added the Humble Monthly Games of March 2017
Update, added Humble Jumbo Bundle 8 - March 2017
Update, added Humble Monthly Games of April 2017
I liked the game very much, I liked the new DLCs as well, I dont regret getting it full price and getting the season pass, I bought it in the 1st month or so, playing as Celebrimbor is alot of fun. and the Beast Riders DLC, shows the orcs controlling animals, it changes the way you play the game.
Video Games are already at high prices considering that you need to purchase the DLCs and the Season Pass, and its getting more expensive, used to be in the 20$ range but now we see that the prices have increased to 30$ 40$ and 50$ for a season pass, if you wait for sale on all of these items, it will land you a final price of 15$ or 20$ or even 30$ when compared to previous full games with all of DLCs for 7.5$ or 10$.
I see this equation not going away for the time being, And I still prefer to buy games at a discounted price.
The only recent game that I bought at full price Preorder is Titan Fall 2, and that is because this game will have no Season Pass, all future updates maps dlcs will be offered for free. I encourage developers/publishers to follow this route.
I can never play a game without shadows,
But recently since last gen, PS3 and X360 era, the shadows got advanced that you dont notice the difference between Low and High settings, it isn't worth the performance hit.
I usually set the shadows option to low or medium. as I dont notice much difference from high or very high settings.
Same with AO, i usually set it to high or medium. I find it to be a waste of performance.
I think this game is no longer available in online stores, I think because there are newer games released. I even checked for versions before 2016 I couldnt find any ? If i can ask, why do u want the 2010 copy of the game ? Wont 2016 be better ?
@jimseek: @mrbojangles25:
I am sorry, I misread the title, i thought you meant games based on real war. I've got alot on my mind lately, my apologies mates.
I suggest playing Starcraft , Dawn of War 40 K series, the older titles of both series will provide a lot of good story/gameplay for you, if you rather not start from the current games, and will give you information on their lore and history.
I also suggest as the above said, try World in Conflict it is made by Massive Entertainment, the ones who currently developed Tom Clancy's The Division. This is a game that I played personally, and the graphics still look good.
Company of Heroes Series.
Civilization Games either IV or V
Recently ive been only buying from Humble Bundle store since they support charity, and i liked the GOG Galaxy Client, so im gonna try their store as well.
