@nameaprice @Shadowsault Well I know it wouldn't really help reduce real-world violence, but it's still just stupid that parents let their 12 year-old kids play games like that.
I do have to say, it would be good if they could keep adult games out of the hands of kids. I hear some people complain there's more of them playing CoD than there are actual adults.
I'm so tired of this...Me and most of my siblings played some of the most violent video games (Doom, Quake, Blood, Duke Nukem) when we were all under 13 years old, and through the years it has not affected us at all and we're still very happy people, why? Because we were raised well, and our parents knew we could separate fantasy from reality...
If a video game encourages someone to go out and commit a mass murder, then they were already mentally unstable in the first place. Also in that case, I would say violent movies affect people just as much as violent video games do.
