The only option is to have the character die of natural causes between Episode VIII and IX, as happened in reality.

Whatever important things she had to do in IX will have to be changed. Anything else would be disrespectful and unconvincing. Even if CGI wouldnt be in extremely poor taste, it wouldn't be convincing enough. Tarkin was ok but not quite there. Certainly not the level of perfection youd need to render a character as important as Leia. Young Leia was ok because she had one cameo. But she is a main character and we just saw her in VII. There's no way the Tarkin style CGI would work.

Keep in mind this is a woman who felt her own identity had disappeared into that of the character she played. And now not even death can separate her from that fiction? No. Unacceptable

@7tizz: I don't see how anyone could call this dumbed down. The game has been made more polished and has more features than the first Titanfall in every conceivable way. That game was amazing and I played a hundred hours, but TF2 exceeds it in every way.
