Alright, first let's see if it's a problem with the router, or if it's something else. If possible, try to connect your computer with a wire directly to the modem.

What exactly do you mean it throws your internet out of sync?

DMZ is an option in your router configuration that opens all ports.

If you can, try it with a wired connection.

Do you or do you not have a mic? Youtyped something that could be "dont" with a missing a letter or "do" with an extra letter.

I'm going to go with your dad on this one. The settings will probably start pretty low.

It sounds like it should run fine, but if you want to change some setting, setting the grass view distance all the way down really speeds it up outdoors, and personally, I hate the grass (stuff gets lost in it) so I turned mine all the way down even though I don't really need to.

I doubt it's a hardware problem, but I don't know where else to put this. It may sound unusual, but here it is. My headset used to echo with no delay, basically, I heard myself talk except it was amplified by the microphone. One day after restarting and installing exactly 69 windows updates, it stopped echoing. I miss it. I got so used to the echo that it gives me a headache to talk to people without it. I was hoping if anyone had a problem with echos, they could tell me what they did to fix it and I could do the opposite. So, any thoughts?

It depends. If you want to save money for the long term, but don't mind not playing PC games for a while, then go with vista. If you don't mind the extra money for the inevitable upgrade, but want to play games, go with xp. While there are games out that are vista compatible, there aren't many, so I,personally, would go with xp.

So my RAM is 65% right now, this means Vista and Iexplorer are using about 700MB of RAM? This would only leave 322MB of RAM. What do i do when i need to play a game that requires more than 350MB RAM?spngbblvr

You close internet explorer.

Do something that you've always wanted to do to your computer, but were afraid to break it.

I'd go with the second one, because it has better of the more complicated to replace hardware. It has less RAM, but if you ever think you need more, you can just stick another stick in, which is simpler than installing a new processor.
