It is really a wasted great game, this game would have been so amazing, it would have got a GOTY or an award as best hack n slash game, Sigh I am really frustrated by it being canned.

Yeah, I have to agree. So many great-looking projects fail to come to fruition.

Not to mention it was special and different, every hack n slash game nowadays feels the same, I love em all, I love God of War, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders, DMC, Castlevania, or any other game, but they kinda feel the same. The promise of this game, the features and combat were really amazing beyond belief, also vampire game ?!, yeah sure, it was true vampire game, and it been a very long time since I played a true vampire game, I miss the days of Legacy of Kain, and Harker seemed to have this. Instead Double Helix is ruining it self, they made Silent Hill Homecoming instead, then Green Latern, and now Battleship, really what the hell is wrong with them !!!

TBH I want GOW4, and actually can't wait to get it, but since there is a possibilty of Heavenly Sword 2 being announced, then let's do HS2, and leave GOD4 for next gen on PS4.

I also agree with the members opinions on Santa Monica doing HS2, TBH HS1 was a good game but some aspects of it sucked balls, like the voice acting and dialogues, they were total disaster that I almost puked, especially since the story was actually good, but the voice acting and dialogues ruined it to me, The Sword was a great weapon, needs extra attention and it will be great, the boss fights were kinda special too, the targeting with the controller was really bad to me though, almost frustrating.

Last thing I am a bit worried about the sequel rumored story, check it herehttp://www.vg247.com/2011/05/07/rumor-heavenly-sword-2-in-the-works-more-coming-at-e3/I don't like the whole idea of playing with a namless guy/gal ........... etc, this would work if the guy/gal is not namless, but a real character, that develop over time, I am just afraid it won't be, I need a strong direction, I also like Tameem idea's better, a connection betweenNariko & Kai would be epic, especially since I want Kai to get over her fears, and become a splended woman like Nariko.

Actually it was pretty easy if you were doing it right. At first I got frustrated by it to but that was because I had never used the sixaxis before. Not many games use the controller in the way heavenly sword did but it was pretty easy to target once I figured out I had to barely move the controller to target.

I would love a Heavenly Sword sequal not sure I would want one made by Santa Monica though as one of the best aspects of Heavenly Sword was the presentation. I thought Team Ninja did a great job with that, don't really see that in God of War games.

Indeed, and the towers with 4 marks to hit in certain times, I can't remember how many times I replayed that, around 30 or something, but as you said the trick was to barely move the controller. As for Santa Monica, it was more of a suggestion, I got to disagree GOW had great presentation, the opening of GOW3 was one hell of an opening, no game can live up to it (maybe MGS4 ?!), but HS had this vibe of a fast and beautiful game as opposed to brutal and bloody, after playing Enslaved and seeing how great the story was I don't mind Ninja Theory working on HS2, they will fix the disaster of story/dialogues they made in the first game, and maybe even DmC helped them flesh out a greater Combat system, HS had an amazing combat, but it felt short with the enemy types and variety, I think on 3 more days and we will know for sure what is to be revealed. BTW Team Ninja are the people behind Ninja Gaiden, while Ninja Theory HS/Enslaved/DmC, we got alot of ninjas :D

TBH I also wish Sony would bring back Syphon Filter, I really need a Syphon Filter 4, I had the first 3 on PSOne, but since then no game in the series could mount to them, and PSP titles were held in high regarding but I couldn't play them since I didn't have a PSP, so I want Syphon Filter series to come back

shadiezz2012

can i hope for both ???

That would be epic my friend, It is a fact that will get a GOW title sooner or later, It is one of Sony's Strongest series, and one of the reasons why I bought a PS3 in the first place.
