bamir0. Will be interesting to see if the PS3 has anything left power wise in 2013 ,you are right in them being similar but maybe games like The Last of Us are just out of XBOXs reach?

I think i might go for this on Wii U over my 360 having it play on the pad would be ok and a game with long multiplayer life will make me feel i am getting good use out of the machine but mainly i get the impression i will like the people (community) online more.

If Nintendo want third party devs to really do well then they should think about letting them use (licence) the engine that they are developing for this new Zelda, maybe?

I think (sorry to say for you because of your situation) that it will be a showcase for what can be done with the new controller, i really hope that there is a way you can enjoy it with everyone else though.

What Nintendo need to do is make sure they are in the 3rd party loop for the next generation, when AAA titles come out as long as the Wii U gets in there they will be fine. Having top specs only matters if they are being used ,if the last gen showed us anything its that the real trick is just having enough, Playstation had the specs but most its games ended up being Xbox quality, multiplatform development aims to push the bottom system up and dumb the top down and the cost of big titles now means this way of doing things is here to stay.

I would hope that Nintendo bothered to ask developers what they thought they would need for future titles (but maybe not ,no mic, bad triggers on pro pad seems a mistake).

As far as first party exclusives go Nintendo have the advantage but people want more full on titles so just sticking Mario in a golf/tennis game wont cut it anymore, longer development means less first party output means third party support is now must,they took a gamble going first, only time will tell if it pays off for them.

Being able to play the game away from the tv would on occasion be a good enough use of the screen you dont always need to reinvent the wheel just let people play on the toilet when they want to.

If you want to use art as a counter point then you should know that artists working on something for a client have to take into account what it is that the client wants and expects and if the work will fit into a context and space prearranged, if you want to experiment with style you often have to do it in your own time using your own money.ME3 is a commercial product made for fans of the preceding games if those fans (clients) are not happy with the product then they have every right to ask for something to be done about it of course Bioware dont have to listen ,just dont expect said fans to come back for more if they feel they have been sold something that does not fit what was promised.

As long as i can spend hours putting things on shelves in my houses i will be more than happy, explore, horde and display, just a shame you cant invite mates over to check out your home and sit and have a beer in front of fire..
