And that game... is Diablo 3Someday a perfect game will come, and all other games in production will be cancelled. We will all play the perfect game and no one will have any doubts, we will all see the truth in its perfection. The game will transcend our differences and move us into an age of enlightenment.
The one true game is coming and only belief in this game will set you free.
It has been foretold.

Planescape: Torment... judging from your incredibly vast selection of classic Western RPGs there:roll: I'm guessing you've never heard of it...
[QUOTE="wslacker2"][QUOTE="Grodus5"]i like it a lot. But I still do not think it holds a candle to the original. I did not mess up my shorts like a lot of fanboys did when it came out. Ask me after ravenholm it totally lost the HL feel and turned into a psychics game, that wasnt the bad part, the bad part was the levels where keep on decenting in quality and thy used crap like respawining enemies, undestruvtible turrets and mines that you got to pick up with the gravity gun (come on......) and other crap that killed the action..... i like both episodes more. I actually agree with you completely there. After Ravenholm I got totally bored especially on those extremely long-winded driving sequences. Episode 1 and 2 were fantastic however and I can't wait for Episode 3... which will hopefully be bundled with Portal 2 :DHalf Life 2 (put up huge flame sheild) while I did enjoy the Gravity Gun levels, I really did not like the rest of the game that much. It was ok, but not the best game ever. Maybe if I would've played it when it came out, i would've thought differently, but playing it with the Orange Box was a huge let down for me.

I gotta agree with you about The Witcher. Despite loving so many RPG's ranging from DnD classics like Planescape: Torment to Final Fantasy 3 and 7, I just couldn't get into The Witcher. I tried playing the regular version first, and then the enhanced version, and despite making it a bit further into the campaign the second time it just grew much too tiresome, and I just couldn't grow attatched to either the story or any of the characters.TF2, the Witcher, WoW.

GTA IV, I found the game to be very disappointing since I"m a major GTA player. Nothing beats San Andreas imo.fighter91I'd recommend giving Saints Row 2 a go. I'm not sure if they've patched the PC version yet as the framerate was friggin awful, and it was glitched to hell, but Saints Row 2 on the 360 helped me reminisce in the good old days of San Andreas.
[QUOTE="Rottenberry"]warcraft 3 may be a good game but not that goodHmm. If you're planning on only vacationing a week I'd recommend Fallout 3. Warcraft 3, on the other hand, I would recommend for the remainder of your life.

[QUOTE="Rottenberry"]I was going to say this. Im playing through it right now actually, and its aged amazingly well. Playing it with the high res mod, and the art is amazing. Fantastic setting, great characters, great quests...I love it all over again!Planescape: Torment. If only more PC games could follow its example. THAT is how you tell a video-game story. None of this re-hashed fantasy/Sci-fi dark lord garbage.
