I just beat him. I utilized the giant bone that is lying off to the left. A series of well timed slashes and bow shots took him down. Thanks for your help guys.
I think that is what I'm going to resort to, since he goes beserk once at aboutt 1/4 health. I could really use another persons help, though, if only to conserve stones of ephemeral eyes. It's tough to try to get summoned.... Well, er.... sometimes I get impatient too.
I'm new game +. I'm mostly Endurance and Dexterity and I have the Ancient Kings Mask, Ancient Kings Leggings, Black Leather, Wizard's Gloves, and Purple Flame Shield equipped. I'm dodging like crazy and doing a fair amount of melee damage. I have tried the bow and arrow glitch a few times, but I didn't have enough arrows and got trapped a couple of times and died. I know I can beat him alone, but I would like to do it fairly quickly.
I could really use someone's help defeating the Flamelurker in world 2-2. My soul level is 92 and my psn name is RazedSoul87. I almost beat him every time, but then when he gets into hyper mode I get hit two times in a row and he kills me. I just need another body to do some extra damage. Personally, you can't go wrong with either choice. However, I will lean towards Lost Odyssey solely on the fact that it takes a more mature approach overall. Eventually I would recommend buying both titles. I currently own both and they both are excellent RPG's, hands down two of the best I've ever played!
