[QUOTE="Rohan1627"][QUOTE="MrKilla5"]I connect my 360 to my laptop via ethernet with my laptop connected to my router over wireless. With built in software bridging in Vista it is prolly the cheapest way to do this if you have a laptop and ur 360 is not anywhere close to your router. Speeds are unaffected.MrMurphy72

so what, you plug the ethernet cable into the laptop and into the xbox and it works?

Well kind of. Plug one end of the ethernet into laptop plug other end into your 360. You have to open up your network connections on your laptop and bridge the connections. Then it should work.

and the ethernet cable that comes with the xbox works for that right?

with the whole wireless bridge thing, do you just plug it in and it detects a wireless signal, or what?

[QUOTE="Rohan1627"]do you mean like use a normal wireless adapter that you can buy from that store?_shaft2000

No, It has to be a bridge/access point. Here is an example from newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156232

alright thanks man, i don't know a lot about the whole wireless thing. All I know is how to connect and a few basic things.
