With a youngster in this house, I was excited about it at first, but when I saw that a fully grown adult couldn't even get the thing to work, I thought again. If you ask me, if they can't get a demo working for E3, they can't get a decent game released on time.
You guys knew about this months ago - it is why so many games have delayed themselves until next year! The only franchises that could compete with CoD are Half Life and GTA, so I knew it was going to be one of those two.
Mortal Kombat was legendary to me. A real gaming milestone. I was 8 when it came out on consoles and I remember just itching to play it. To me, it was the first ever fighting game with REAL people in it! Before Mortal Kombat, it was just fighting cartoon characters knocking each other out. Now we had real people, blood, and fatalities! Not only could you beat your mate, 'Back, Back, A' would rip his heart out!
The controversy when it came out made it seem all the more awesome and made me all the more desperate to play it. A masterpiece of a game.
