I had already put Japanese V2 onto my PSP. Now the US version is available I would like to over-write the *** version with the US version (there could be minor updates/bug fixes).

I had thought the *** version was 2.00 and the US version would be v2.0000001 or something and so the *** version would get overwritten. But that is not the case. When I try to update my *** v2 version with US v2 version it says "there is no need to update".


Any ideas on how to force it to update?

You can't. You have to wait for the next update.
