I'm surprised by the marginal framerates in the benchmark tests. I have an OC 8800 Ultra, so I guess I won't be needed one these.

Com'on Gamespot, £150 at retail? Would you buy it at that price? I think not. You guys should have suggested a price about the £60 mark to give us a better estimate of the true price.

Obviously there is some childish Crysis-fanboy around here who keeps on giving people a negative feedback on their comment when they complain about low FPS. Look people no matter how good the game is potentially, it is currently impossible for gamers to buy or build a rig suitable to play it at max settings and what "I" call at a optimum widescreen resolution which is 1900x1200. If you call this an 'alien' resolution or 'too much' then it is YOU who needs to update yourself, you poor boy! Just look at Bioshock. Yes, its not as graphically impressive as Crysis but its probably the best available right now on PC. From Gamespot's Hardware perfomance guide on max settings and 1600x1200 resolution, Crysis had 15 FPS whilst Bioshock had 50 FPS+. Now you people tell me, what are people at Crytek thinking? Maybe, "Haha, these poor sods cant play our game, its too graphically impressive... we rock, Crysis rock, whohoo!!" Erm.. No!

Jesus Christ!! I brought a Q6600 & a Geforce 8800 Ultra KO just for this game, and I dont even think I can play it with max settings in my new monitor at 1900x1200. I'd get like 18 FPS. That sucks!

Microsoft is a complete scammer to say that the Xbox 360 is backward compatible. I honestly do not like that way they have approach this idea, to shove an emulator into the 360 at the last minute... then saying in their early press conference last year, "And Yes, Xbox 360 will be compatible with original Xbox games." They had no intention whatsoever to have backward capability in the first place. All they had in their mind was to release their new awesome looking Xbox 360 before their competitors. And then when many gamers started to ask about backward capability before their 1st Xbox 360 conference they decided to go for the easy option and saying yes first, after then slamming in a cheap emulator. Not only this, but the emulator only does a 'half' decent job. Firstly, not being able to play every single orignal Xbox game...however saying in their conference that "Xbox 360 is backward compatible" giving us the idea every game would and should work. Secondly, some games run very very poorly using it. Micrsoft never really plan things ahead of themselves unlike Sony, where they think like 10 years ahead. Even though I have a 360, I honestly dislike very much how Microsoft have made bad descisions into many aspects of their new system... most commonly their backward compatablity. Thank you, Ric

loada crap...uncanny valley?? Guys, we got too much upcoming games to play then figuring out this garbage which doesnt even make sense. Plus, that trailer of 'Heavy Rain' rocks... how can it be disturbing in any way? People nowadays have too much time in their hands to discover the unimaginable things. Why cant people just get on with a normal life, ie. make decent games and let others play... THINK!!! Peace out & thanks for reading.. Ric
