I think Gran Turismo 5 and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit still cover perfectly my needs for driving games for the last two years.

So as it seems it's between GTA V and The Last Of Us. Personally I have only played the Last Of Us, and from that experience I had, I hope GTA V wins the award.

I have played it and I can surely say it's a great game, and in my opinion of the same quality with the first Devil may Cry title in the early 2000s. I doubt it will win the PS3 game of the year award, but it surely deserves some reckognition.

@abHS4L88 @Rheinmetal Failure isn't the same with disaster, or fiasco. Failure is not be able to catch up with the competition. I think for the standards of big companies like Nintendo this is called failure. I'm sure WiiU owners and long time Nintendo gamers are happy with the console, no doubt that this is a quality entertainment system, but if you look at it from a distance, there are better market propositions and gamers understand that.

I pretty much agree with Danny on this, unfortunately Wii U is a failure. And that is not simply a Nintendo problem, it's something that one way or another might affect everyone in this business, especially us gamers and consumers. If the more "conservative", or more traditional of the three pillars of modern game industry goes down, I'm afraid some very radical changes wait for us in the future. If gamers don't have any other alternative, what will stop Microsoft and Sony to apply their worst drm policies?
