L1+R1.
L2, R2 had potential, but the triggers just have far too much spring and too little grip for anyones comfort.

I'm all for The MSX MG1&2 available on PSN.
though I can't say I'm too fond of the idea of remakes, especially on PS3. The MSX versions are fine as they are, yeah if you're really desperate you can change snakes avatar but if you're looking for a complete cinematic performance; stop right there! ****cs are ****cs for what they are, I learned this the hard way with twin snakes, MGS is a much better game. Kojima didn't plan these games in 1989. He wrote one after the other. There was no such technical limitations with the MSX, he story wasn't confined to the MSX, it was tailored for the MSX!

He basically Abandoned MG for a decade, then decided to start something fresh. Why do you think Previous Operations was included in MGS? He knew most people hadn't and probably wouldn't play MG, to the few that had, an added bonus, the story goes on. MGS was a new game in itself anyway. There are 4 MGS's are they can stand on their own two feet anyway (like a bipedal tank :D) With each subsequent MGS, we see a revolutionary step in gameplay and performance, who wasn't wowed at the first glimpse of MGS2 or MGS4?

Anyway what I'm trying to say here, is that if you make a MG for PS3 it is a) not gonna have to same feel b) feel hollow and probably be craptaclularly tacked to the MGS4 engine c) be written to cooperate with the pre existing storyline. It's jus tgonna be a stingy unnecessary prequal released right after the series has ended with a bang.

Metal gear is over, and its pefect the way it is. It was a blast, and let's just leave it at that.

Make MG1&2 a live action movie or something, that way you an see them for what they are, they'll stay somewhat separate from the games, and we don't have to butcher a perfectly fine MGS1,2,3, or 4.

[QUOTE="djsifer01"][QUOTE="MATCHIN06401"]

it is the ultimate cop out by Sony.

Why not just say we have Home but " we are not sure if you are going to like it or if it is going to function correctly or if how we will use it but you can download it , and if it sucks or if it is broken remember its just a beta "

QUIT BASHING HOME. im so sick of you people bashing 1 of the most inovative,creative and fun programs ever designed. Its fantastic in every aspect. Its great to take a break from a game and meet new people play pool decorate your apartment bowl ect. QUIT HATING ON IT.

Have you played it?

It is called "Home". People are just coining it home beta for now, becuase it is in fac tin its "beta stages". I don't know why they're having a beta release only a few weeks before it scheduled release it should work fine. Damned if I'm gonna use something like that anyway.

Anime graphics are basically reserved for Japanese titles. Plenty of games are Japanese, and many of them you'll find have that anime look and its been happenin since the SNES era...even before.
Thing I don't like is when too many Western developers start trying to mimic this art stile hey everyone has a right to use it...but my Sims? C'mon.

Games that have a kinda have a cartony feel to them but at the same time look realistic - like farcry1 or bioshock are probalby what you'd call stylised...either way they're not anime.

Also yeah, stile is spelt wrong...seems gamespot thinks the proper spelling is the s-word. :D

Dolby pro logic II has a setting that allows stereo music to be matrixed through all speakers. In terms of music the 5.1 and 2.1 should come pretty close. The 5.1 should make games more enjoable and should be able to keep up if not exceed the hi-fi.
