I really hate this. Why can't it just stretch the picture like a widescreen tv will do to a fullscreen dvd. Can I fix this? I know about the upscaler, but even set on fullscreen it still doesn't play it fullscreen. What a freakin ripoff!
Do I already have the firmware updates with the upscaling for dvds and old playstation games?? Are they selling PS3's with all the recent updates?

So when did the update get released that had some kind of "upscaling" feature that could make old playstation games look better, and regular dvd movies look better as well?
Stop playing it so much, if you don't want to dream about it. I played Metal Gear Solid 2 for 24 hours in a row the first time I played. I guess only stopped because the game ended.
The PS3 is still overpriced to matter what you think. I'm only buying a PS3 when MGS4 comes out. ONE GAME. I HAVE TO BUY A SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR SYSTEM FOR ONE GAME. If I wasn't such a huge MGS fanboy, Sony would lose me AND many others.
Sadly enough there is not very many good games out for the 360 right now, so I'm waiting until Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Lost Oddessy, and of course Halo 3.
I understand why 360 boys don't want to spend 600$ for a console to play one game. But all I want is MGS4 to be the greatest game of all time (so far is very possible), and if that means being a PS3 exclusive, so be it.
