This looks promising. Hope they make a special bundle with the previous trilogy on it. Something around $100 will be fair. I only played the trial of the previous two and didn't buy any because of the poor visual quality of the digital downloadable version. I want them all four in Blu-ray in a special bundle.

2K Sports really need to stop that crap NBA 2K's release year after year. It is the COD of sports. Same shit over and over again. The same for MLB: The Show. Great game but we are in 2013 and it is still impossible to play online.

@fakharakhtar362I love TLOU too and yes it deserves better rating. Anything below 9 is an insult to the artists. But, Civilization series is my favorite game of all time. You have to think wisely and carefully to be successful in this game. Every time I start a new game I use marathon and huge map (or earth like map) I have to use a mathematical calculator and use a lot of notes to get better results for the empire. I have to be aware of gold income, unit expenses, science progression, local and imported resources, city and population growth, culture growth, constructing the right buildings at the right moment, constructing improvements, create farms, forges, banks, schools, universities, create human wonders and discover natural wonders, create friends and enemies, help other civilizations and much more, not to mention, none of this is possible if you do not know what's up to your neighbor. They can be planning a war to wipe out you off the planet so you have to know what technologies they are using in order to create an army capable of defend your empire. And that is just one way to play the game, is all up to you

The 1st page of the review is an actual summary of the game. Tom took his time to wrote all this make sense it is an intriguing experience. The second page is where the reviewer actually start reviewing.

In the first paragraph about the combat and sound issues: This one is fixable, just set the speech setting in about 70 to 75% of the bar in the audio options menu.

"locked doors cannot be interacted with until the threat has been eliminated, forcing you to act violently even though an evasive approach seems possible" -That really happens like 4 or 5 times in the entire game and sometimes you have to show your combat skills don't you?.

" In other places, a gang of savage monsters waits patiently for you to open a door to freedom, and watches ambivalently as you close it securely behind you." -That one is true and is kind of hilarious but I've seen that dozens of times in blockbuster movies.

"Other times, you maybe dramatically strangling a man only a few meters away from a living guard, and yet you remain unseen." - Kind of true there but pay attention to the music, if you start hearing the tension music in the background that mean you have been fail to accomplish your stealth kill and yet the game give you a lot of chance to make you believe they have not seen you and they often let you keep your stealth game unless you have messed up so badly that they have to scream that you have been spotted.

"When deep water impedes your path, search for a wooden raft so Ellie can make it safely to shore" - That is not only annoying for everybody that played the game but also for Ellie that said in game "again the fucking pallet?" lol

Finally, this is a well constructed review and I appreciate the effort and dedication that Tom put on this review because the game deserve it. For Mr. Mc Shea this game is a 8. For me is a 9.3 This game has great graphics, combat, story, sound voice acting, cinematic, The environment explain the story itself and the music is the best ever created for a video game. No other game can even be as close to this one in terms of immersion the music put a raise in your feelings.
