In regards to no initial DX11 support......just found this out this morning from the guys at EVGA.

Crytek is preparing a patch that will add DX11 (and all of it's eye candy improvements). Hopefully we'll see this ASAP after the release!

I have my exhaust fans on low and the front intake fans on performance (middle setting).....quiet but still great cooling.

Chances are slim it's the monitor.

matter of opinion I guess....there's a reason why 70% of gamers use the Antec 900 case. It has the best air cooling of any mid-sized tower. Skrilla.....check around other forums and look at their rigs....and check the 1000+ reviews at Newegg. I have one also, and it's awesome. You chose a great case.

If his parents know anything at all, they'll be able to tell if and when he's been using the computer during his restricted times anyway.
