[QUOTE="yfzika"]

Thanks a lot to everyone who took the time to read it and reply, I was expecting some war to go on that is off topic lol, which happens in all forums but thankfully not here, I am convinced now that the 360 will be the console for me even though I love the way killzone 2 looks :P. Thanks again oh and if you don't mind let me know what you think of this tv that I'm purchasing with it, it's a 32" 1080p is it worth me spending an extra 80 quid to go from 720p to 1080p on a 32" bare in mind I shall use it on my pc aswell. Thank you

Here is the TV:

On a 32", I don't think you'll see too much difference, but the 1080 is that much nicer :)

I agree. I have a 32'' 720p in the basement and it has a great picture, but my 27'' 1080p blows it out of the water.

Hello everyone thanks for taking the time to read my post,

I am usually a PC gamer but I am in the market for a console, I have researched back and forth to pick either the XBOX 360 or the Playstation 3. I have been told since I own a PSP and had owned a Playstation 2 previously that the Playstation 3 was the obvious choice, but a few things made me change my mind to pick the 360 including; online play, better games library, cheaper £300 for PS3 80gb and about £170 for Xbox 360 premium 60gb.

Then I read about the so called "Red Ring Of Death" that a lot of 360 users have suffered from. Reliability for me is a big issue I like things to last, so my question is, has this problem been fixed? Am I making a mistake purchasing a 360? Please share your opinions on this matter it would help me greatly. Thank you.

Best Regards

Osiris

Definitely not a mistake. Yes, the MAJORITY of 360 owners have suffered hardware issues, but the overall result is the Xbox 360 is a gaming powerhouse. Xbox Live is incredibly fun, quick, well organized, and the game selection - The game selection is debatable with the PS2's for best-ever. You can't really go wrong. I have both the PS3 and Xbox 360, and I will say that if you choose the PS3, you're not making a bad choice at all, it's just the 360 is a bit of a better choice. Hope I helped.

I need games to recommend to a 6-7 year old boy, but needs to be a non-violents game because his mom banned violent games at his home. (he was playint to much call of duty and talking about killing nazis)

I came up with:

Kameo: Elements of Power

Braid

Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise

Would like some help with few other games.

Oh, and is fable 2 really mature? I was going to recommend until i saw the M rating...

ropumar

They're all great choices EXCEPT Fable. I love Fable, but you can have sex and blow peoples heads off.... not to good for a 6 year old. Also, I would suggest Banjo kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and any Disney game like maybe Wall-E

I hope this doesn't lead to another forums war.

I choose Rock Band 2, because I like that the Tour Mode has new setlists everyday and it never ends, the online is better IMO, I like the song choices better, and I like that there is new DLC every Tuesday.

Too much dismemberment might be a bad thing. It could offend some people, or just turn some off. Some is alright, but not to an extreme.sToK3d

They should make it very realistic. If you get hit by a tank or RPG, then you should be a pile of blood and your body parts shoudl go all over. If it may offend some people, do like GOW2 does and add a filter option.

GTA4... I thought for a game that took 4 years to make, had over 1000 people working on it, and cost over $100,000,000 to create would have had some spectacular ending that would have blown my mind... but I saw both endings coming since the beginning of the game... what a twist...

Squeets

Samesys on my part. I can't believe ROMAN OR KATE DIE DEPENDING ON IF YOU HELP DIMITRI OR NOT! OMG! Oops, spoilers. too late. Hahaha.

When I jumped over the first turtle in Super Mario World. That was a huge plot twist, I thought it was only goombas throughout.
