The question is, what kind of remaster is it? A pathetic remaster where they boost the colors, replace some textures & call it a day (90% of remasters, e.g. AC III, Mafia 2, etc)
Or a proper remaster where you can actually see the difference immediately. (Saints Row 3)
I hope it's the second kind, otherwise it will just be a cash grab.
@notjm: Exactly! This game is nothing like the Witcher. I'm not gonna drool over it just because it's made by the same company. Hopefully their next game will take them back to their roots.
CDPR has slowly been turning into an evil company. Microtransactions. Smaller campaign. Employee crunching. At this pace they'll reach EA/Activision standards within a few years at most.
And the blind fanboys who are defending them every time need to calm down. If WE don't criticize their controversies, then they'll pull more controversial moves in future. WE need to hold them accountable for their actions.
It makes sense. Original Mafia was developed by "Illusion Softworks". Then Mafia 2 was developed by "2K Czech". Both are competent developers who made good games.
Then Mafia 3 crap was made by "Hangar 13", which has now also made Mafia: Definite Edition. So it's gonna be just as buggy & bland as the Mafia 3.
When it comes to videogames, the developer matters. Competent developers make great games. Incompetent ones make poor games. End of story.
