As much as most of you think this game is the 2nd coming of Christ Cows and Sheep really, really dont care.
You bash the wii because of the casual crowd that digs it and yet you continue to talk about Halo 3 even though the casual crowd that digs Halo is infinitly worse then wii's casuals.
All you bring up is the plethora of sales it will receive and yet the wii has now out sold the 360 but does that mean its abetter system? NO because sales are not what make consoles great just like sales are not what make the games great (but im not saying the wii is worse either ill chalk it up to personal opinion.
Month in month out the PS2 consistently outsells both the 360 and PS3 (granted there isnt an ubsurd increase in salesbecause of some games release) but that doesnt make it a better system either.
How about EA's crap movie licensed games that sell like hot cakes but every gamer with half a brain knows is crap? Only exception i've ever seen is The Two Towers i loved that game, to bad the camera in Return of the King made the game unplayable.
In the end people need to understand when something sells well regardless of what it may be, it does so thanks in large partfor its ability to appeal to the masses and sorry folks but the masses are @$$e$ and 99% (give or take a few % points) of Halo purchasers are uninformed casual @$$e$, just like any fanboy really and by my logic just like all the people buying the wii whom you rag on all the time.
Now I am not saying everybody who buys halo 3 or a wii is a casual @$$ but you must admit they both target the casual crowd the only difference is the casual crowd that Halo 3 has is generally between the age of 10 (sometimes younger but not usually)to say 24 (sometime older,well probably alot of the times over) what im getting at is generally Halo appeals to the teenagecasual male crowd. For the most part the wii appeals to every casual that halo doesnt appeal to.
Now Im aware that alot of what ive said are generalization that cant be proven by any factual numbers (maybe they could I simply wont take the time to look for them) but man the Halo sales threads need to stop, because at the end of the day the only people that care about Halo salesare those very peoplespouting the information in the first place.
BTW i may look like a cow and i would admit to being one but ill play a game no matter what its on if its enjoyable to do so. Halo 2 multiplayer was great the first thousand times i played it but I cant take it anymore, and im talking about anything halo. Maybe if it wasnt all i played everytime i went to anyones house with an xboxor at my own place when friends called me up to play.Not to mention the total cop out on the single player portion, really irked me to the point that ill never finishany fight involving Master Chief.
