Consoles are the only thing preventing gaming from having photo realistic textures, they have to make them affordable so they have to cut corners. The latest PC's are capable of rendering photo realistic environments in real-time with cards like the GTX980 and 290X in SLI and Crossfire. Not to mention i7 processors are completely underutilized, most of us that own i7's know that they are complete overkill for the majority of games out there because most developers don't even begin to utilize their potential.
@yoda101280 More like $5.99 during the X-mas sale because this will sell so poorly. PC gamer's tend to make far less blind and uninformed purchases than console gamer's.
@theshorterbus I know what you mean, it bugs me when AAA publishers come out with something that I actually want because I hate supporting them. I'm totally done with EA though, they have nothing I want and they have pissed me off so many times I just can't do it anymore.
To me it seems like a lot of the hype around this game is due to the fact that there is absolutely nothing else coming out at the moment. I watched gameplay videos and it just seems like another Borderlands which got boring very quickly for me even in co-op.
@wasakawaka yea I'm usually someone that finishes games that I purchase but I got almost to the end of this one and just kinda stopped caring. I think I might go back and finish it before GTA 5 comes out for PC (I haven't played it at all yet), because after that comes out I know there is no chance I will ever even think about Watch Dogs again.
