@solokingrobert: But they have to be downloaded from the MS Store on Windows 10, it's built into the OS. How long will these servers stay open? It's not a mystery really, inevitably the Store will fail and the games will receive the same support that games like Fable 3 did when GFWL shutdown in 2013. (HINT: No support and can barely even be played now, thanks GFWL and MS)
@pspearman: Except that Steam has proven to be a reliable service since Half-Life 2 was released. On the other hand, there are some PC games that are a hassle to play even today because of broken GFWL features and what not. People are not going to be willing to trust a service that has spit in their face before. I will not be buying anything from the Microsoft Store, I would rather buy from Origin or even UPlay over Microsoft's crappy app store.
