Why does it feel like this review was written from the desire that the 480 would be on par or even beat the 1070? That was NEVER a claim and I hope this was not taken in to consideration in your review. You took an entire paragraph that has no relation to claims made by AMD about the 480 using catch words/phrases like "sorely disappointed," "AMD hopefuls," "flagship GPU" (no one ever claimed it was), "performance pusher," etc. Your selective use of vocabulary and grammar in what should be an objective review reads very subjective compared to your actual results. If I heard none of the hype surrounding the 480 and found these results, the word I would use is "impressive," just like the fake Ras al Ghul said.
On a side note, performance (FPS) per dollar shows the only other current nVidia card that comes close is the GTX 950 2GB.
@wexorian: Were you hoping it to be a 1070 killer? That was never a claim made by AMD. Wait for the markets to react, I think you will see a bigger drop in the coming days/weeks. Maybe not $100 though, maybe more like bundled games.
@mischiefmeerkat Why are you shocked? Development of games on consoles has held us back from taking advantage of the latest hardware/power available to us. I hate to sound like a PC elitist, but we have been capable of so much more (as you seem to know) for years and not able to use it because the money has always been in outdated console hardware.
Something to look more forward to though, is the 4K revolution. I would be much happier with a 4K game at 60 fps than a 1080p game at 120/240 fps.
Excellent video Cam. The first thing I said to myself was, "I think this video is in 60 fps." It really makes a difference and I hope this becomes the standard for all video/games. Although, I've seen 120 and it is amazing, but as you mentioned, not many people have the hardware capable of that. Furthermore, I would rather see 4K (2160p) resolutions more abundant at this point than 120 fps/Hz.

@MeestaPleasta Good statement. I agree the game should not have been hurt by the social/political views of one individual, but the comments towards Carolyn are horrible.
One thing I have to disagree with though, is there is a general rage in the gaming community about those who go against the flow of things. In fact, this isn't the first time Carolyn has come under personal attack. Props to her for standing up with bravery and perseverance. I have also gamed with women online and the comments they receive are also horrible. Everything from sexual comments (yes, disproportionate to men receiving them) to degradation of their gaming ability because of their gender. It's not just GTA V.
