I would have to say World of Warcraft. It's alright, but nothing special. All of my friends freaked out about it worse than preppy girls at a shoe sale -.- That and Runescape. Okay games to kill some time, but not the best. That's just my opinion, though, so feel free to think whatever you want. Aizen_Fangirl

Although I'm a huge RPG-fan and I really enjoyed playing WoW,I think you're right.

People were always telling how WoW is so much betterthen other RPG's,

but I don't think that's true.

There are some extrafeatureslike your professions wich I really enjoyed,

but the battles are very repetative and the story doesn´t seem to come through.

I must admit that I only played it for a view days and I definetly will give it another shot,

but I expected a lot more after everyone was it like it was the digitalequivalent of

Tolkiens´s Lord of the Rings.

I thinks it's time for a Next-Gen MMO, can't wait for Final Fantasy XIV!

Thanks for reminding me! I totally forgot about GoW.

We have a set of XboX 360-controllers here so we're gonna give Trine a shot,

thanks!

Hello guys,

I found a topic on this subjectelsewhere on this site and it was very useful, thanks. But all

the games that were recommended there were games prior to 2004 (that was the request of the

original topic-starter.)

I played a view of them with my roommate, but now we're looking for some more.

Some of the older LAN-Games were very fun, but we both really like the AI in NextGen-games.

My roommate and I both have a High-End gaming PC, so the new question is:

What are the best co-op LAN-games, regardless of any system-requirements?

Games we are already playing in multiplayer:

  • Borderlands
  • Red Alert 3
  • Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising (Co-op missions rock!!)
  • Resident Evil 5
  • Neverwinter Nights 2
  • Empire: Total War
  • Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth, The Rise of the Witch King

I await your advice, thanks.

Greetings,

-TheGodfather-
