Haha, I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I shouldn't laugh, but I can't be surprised. I hope you were able to get past that mission finally. Yeah, I almost beat NYM Hardcore today. I got up to the final chapter in the game---the LAST one--and ended up running out painkillers in the airport and got Killed!! I was so PISSED, now I gotta start all the way back to Chapter 1 and redo the whole thing all over again because of that!! Damn, sorry. That's brutal. I've only played the game on normal difficulty, haven't tried the others yet. I'm amazed you were able to get past the rest considering how pointless Passos acts in the other missions. Well done. Actually, You can take back what I said there. Yesterday, I actually did finish ALL OF nym hardcore including the airport part at the end!! I even got the achievement for it and everything!! That's one thing I'm now proud of myself I can scratch off my to do list FOREVER!! Hahahaha.

Yes, I do have to agree. It does get annoying listening to him "b!tch" about everything, but I guess thats the whole point of the game. He really DOES have a DEATH WISH and doesn't care whether he lives or dies anyways.Things could be worse. And if you are a unhappy drunk then its time to find a new vice.

I'm not sure if somebody else has already asked this, they probably have, but will the storyline make sense if I haven't played the first two in the series? shmedoNah, you should be able to understand the story without having to play the first two. There is one part in Max Payne 3 where he brings up "Mona Sax"---that was like his girlfriend or whatever in the first two games. But other than that---you should pretty much be able to understand it without having to play the first two.
