The sidequests are really brilliant also - it feels great whenever I get a new heart piece or bottle :P

The combat is brilliant - some of the best moments in the series are when you have to fight one on one duels, sword to sword (ie. in the forest temple with the two skull knights - yeah this is 2 on 1, I know :P). I don't know why they don't make fighting systems in modern games as smooth - take Assassins Creed, that feels so heavy and clunky when you fight, as opposed to the smooth grace of Zelda games. I mean, you don't even have the choice to stab, sideways strike, or overhead cut, - you can only "attack".

I do think the story is usually a bit forgettable. Final Fantasy X had a great story, which added to the gameplay and feel, but actually, while a better narrative would be nice, I don't think it ever hurts the zelda series. One thing I have been confused about for a while, is there meant to be any romance between Link and Zelda, or is it purely platonic? I always thought they would get together (not make love on screen, obviously, but maybe share a kiss and embrace for example), seeing as she's the damsel in distress and he's the heroic saviour, but maybe I'm wrong.

One thing I don't get is why they replaced all the weapons with blasters from star wars. Why do I keep seeing red beams shooting out of the guns and across the screen?

It's not strictly related, but I think the worst aspect of MW2 is that kids in primary school play it. This is a game that, for want of a better term, glorifies violence, where the object is purely to kill other people. I think it's unhealthy that kids under the age of 10 play videogames full stop, children playing this makes me sick. My brother is almost 14, and I still think thats a little young to play this sort of stuff. I know it's impossible to enforce age limits, but I think its sad that parents will let their children play this sort of thing. I'm proud in a way that my mother at first refused to let my buy this game (even though I'm 17).

Would it be too much to hope for that they could do this for FFX? I'm sure many would be delighted for an upscaled FFVII-FFXII.

They're both fun but I really loved Zelda. Everything was perfect, the combat and the dungeon puzzles espically. I don't realise why they don't do that with games now - I mean with the power available is it too muh to make a fighting system as fluid and graceful as the zelda series? Take Assassin's Creed for instance - everything feels so clunky and heavy when fighting, and your only attack option is "attack" - no stabing, horizontal cutting, overhead slash, etc.

I have a 20, and it's the same thing as the launch 60GB models minus the wireless internet, SD slots, and the trim. PS2 games do play on it. But I don't know what your talking about at far as 60GB having bad B/C support, they play all the old PS2 and PS1 games fine.Sitic

Again, click the link, and you'll know what I'm talking about.

[QUOTE="PapaJuliio17"]

So is the B/C actually good, or shoddy as it was with the original PS3's? And sorry, I'm not too tech savvy, so when you say it has different card readers how does that make it differ from standard PS3's?

wooooode

Well the B/C is very good, and not sure what you mean because the 20's are the orignal PS3's.

I mean is it like this?

I think it's preverted that casual sex/nudity in games is seen as obscene yet it's acceptable for 6 year olds to play games such as COD that glorify killing and bloodshed.

But then again, I think video game's shouldnt be played by anyone under the age of 10.
