i play my PS3 on a 32" hdtv, and quite honestly, the picture difference is staggering, especially for gaming.

as gamespot points out, and i personally know, burnout paradise's mini-map isnt even legible in SD, and many other games NEED HD.

i picked mine up two years ago for $700, im sure you could find one for 300-400 or cheaper now

i love my PlayStation 3.

i personally had a choice between that and a 360 about 3/4 of a year ago, and it was an easy decision for me. (before the ps3 i had a gamecube, so no microsoft/sony bias)

and now i feel better about it than ever, with a few excellent exclusives like metal gear solid 4 and littlebigplanet, great updates, and a lot to look forward to (e.g. killzone 2), the choice to buy a ps3 was a great one
