If you cant dedicate a lot of your time to Dota then you're doing the right thing by not playing it, in the game's de.fense i say that you only need a lot of dedication to get through the learning curve, which is a lot, but after that you would be okay with a few games per week.
In the end it all comes down to that old saying: mobas, love them or leave them.
Berserker gets shot => gets mad => moves closer to assault soldier => Rapid Fire at point blank => ??? => Profit.
Get Iron Will from Officer Traning School (Not sure if possible in multiplayer) => Get Psi Soldier => with Mind Shield => get Support with Combat Drugs => Use Psi Inspiration => mind control a freaking Ethereal.
@madgame23 its called a Sectopod and it gets a free overwatch if it doesnt moves, so use a assault with lightning reflexes to waste it's overwatch, then get a heavy with Heat Ammo at close to mid range, and suddenly your worst nightmare is down to 1/4 hp.
A sniper with double tap is also effective. even an assault with run & gun and rapid fire can do short work of it.
And also notice how the first thing it will almost always do is to try and land a cluster bomb shot wherever it has first seen one of you soldiers, giving the chance for you guys to get closer.
When you find this guy the first time you will likely already have Titan Armor and Plasma weapons, if not you're in deep trouble.
And SHIVs are a really bad idea against this guy. (dont know about the hover SHIV though, havent tested it)
Are you hearing this Insomniac? can you hear the internet? no, thats no acclamation.
thats the sound UNIVERSAL DISAPPROVAL makes. thats what happens when you base your decision on the opinions of 12 YEARS OLD (they actually did that look it up)
They're going with a drastically different art direction for this game, generic wow-like fantasy, instead of the realistic, unsaturated Lord of the Rings-like fantasy of Skyrim.
