I just wondered if Midna was male or female. I just started the game, so I don't know if it ever tells you in the game, but I couldn't wait. I have been bothered and peastered about wether or not Midna is a male or female. I just wanted to know to tie that end up.

[QUOTE="teebeenz"]Mythos, Dungeon Runners and GWs are not MMOs.teebeenz

May I ask what is an MMO, if these games aren't?

An MMO is a persistent world where you can interact with the whole population, the games mentioned above are all instanced based revolving around small teams going it alone in their own separate world.

Than you for clarifying. Now I know for next time.

You could try to get on the Mythos BETA. It might take a while, but in the end it will be worth the effort. To sign up, go to mythos.com. On the home page you will see an area where you can sign up, put your email in the spot and then just wait.

;)

Okay, I found out that Komodoware published Zombie Castle, and Scott Virtes was one of two guys that made it. The shareware version is called Zombie Castle: Vampires Dungeon, but that is just one of many quests, The shareware has 5 leves or so; but the full version has 25+level editor and I don't know how many quests.

Inside's full name is The Inside World and was published by Softgames and was done by Lane Waters, software engineer.

I can't find any downloads for either one though. I anyone has info on where I can get these games, please tell me. Post here or send me an email with Zombie Castle as the subject.

Thank you.

I am looking for this game called Zombie Castle, but I don't remember if thats just part of the name and if it is then I think it's the last part. It is an older game, I think it was made in 1995, or around there. You play this guy stuck in this castle full of ghosts and goblin, armed with a crossbow, you have to escape, while upgrading your weapons. I had the shareware version, but don't anymore and I am wondering if it is now freeware or abandonware, but have not been able to find it. I got the shareware version from Galaxy of Games 2.

Another game from GoG2 is called Inside, I think. It's a first person RPG, but it is based in modern day and you fight big bugs mainly.

If you know where I can get/download these game or have any other info please post.

Thanks!!!!

RPG means Role Playing Game as in you play a role in the story usually the main character, who is on a quest.

herezjarchus

No. In gaming terms, both computer and Pen and Paper, the expression "Role-playing" has a specific meaning. Basically it implies a focus on character interaction and being presented with choices which affect the story and define the character throughout the game. Which means that the "character upgrade" element is not necessary (or sufficient) to set RPGs apart from games of other genres.

Exactly... I have to agree with that :)

Okay! Thanks, I guess I got messed up in my thinking big time! ( I never played the pen-paper RPGs )

RPG means Role Playing Game as in you play a role in the story usually the main character, who is on a quest. Therefor all or most games are RPGs. So now we had to further define what an RPG is. So we have your character upgrades ect...

To me RPGs are fantasy or sci-fi fantasy in which you get character upgrades ect...
