@FSgamer A correction to my last post, Codies said this today at GRID facebook page:

"There's been a lot of confusion regarding the pre-order bonuses for GRID 2. Just to confirm that this content is NOT present on the game disc and will only be available as a separate download." So I posted this comment:

Chuck Purplefortyfour @Official Daniel "While it is likely the pre-order bonuses will appear down the line, it is not likely that will be on day 1." But that the $50-$60 question. It look like Codemasters is selling us only 90% of GRID 2 at release day ( 93% for those that get one the pre-order bonus ) and then with Codemasters track history with DLCs, will charge the GRID community another say $10 to get a bundle of all the pre-order bonus. If this is the plan, can not Codemasters see why people are upset? Or will Codemasters do the fair thing and release the bonus pre-order packs for free about a month after release date for GRID 2?

@FSgamer The pre-order bonus are on the disk, you just won't be able to unlock them. Loore from Codemasters said they will offer all the pre-order bonus packs later, in one bundle. But Codies have not said if they will charge players to get this bundle or give bundle as a freebie about a month after release and create some goodwill with the GRID community. Will Codemasters do the right thing when it come to the pre-order bonuses?

@asifah30 GRID 1 hit the sweet spot between a an arcade racer and a sim. For those that wanted GRID 1 to be more sim, you could turn all the Assists Off. Touring car and derby racing online with 12 players was great fun until the online servers got turn off for the PC and PS3 versions. Jury still out if GRID 2 will have the same magic of GRID 1. Codemasters making major changes to GRID, have to wait for a demo to see if the magic still there. GRID 1 demo blew me away and I place my pre-order back then in 2008. No pre-order this time.

@speedcrysis Since Codemasters does not sell a retail PC DVD disk in the US any more, Steam the only place for us US PC players to go to buy a newly release Codemasters game, unless you try importing a euro version DVD disk. But right now, Steam don't have GRID 2 yet to pre-order. GIRD 2 missing derby racing thou! :(
