It just provides variety, some people wanna play it the boring way, let them. It just gives lazy people an extra option. It's also definitely a software thing, check out bowling, you won't be able to flick your wrist to play bowling.
Those of you only think of Wii in terms of the same old stuff are closed minded and too traditional. There is tons of new stuff coming as well as games that you wouldn't think would be fun but are due to the Wii Remote. Tell me you don't wanna headbutt someone with the controllers in the Godfather? You don't wanna swing the golf club for real in Tiger Woods? You aren't interested in the concept in fighting Disasters in Disaster Day of Crisis?
