"An important fact to keep in mind is that GeForce 7900 is 196 sqmm die size and X1900XTX is 352 sqmm. It is pretty amazing that a chip approximately one half the size of a competitive high-end chip can deliver overall winning performance for today's top 3D games, while consuming less power," Nick Stam, Nvidia's technical marketing director, said. "The 7900 is clearly more efficient architecturally, and this should also translate into lower street pricing."

:shock::shock:Amazing, just amazing!  PS3's graphics chip is half the size of Xbox360's chip, yet PS3's graphics chip is more powerful.

Valkrie_Knights

actually the ps3's grpahics chip is not more powerful - it IS 50 MHZ faster, but that doesnt mean its a btter GPU.  If you think simply having more cores or higher MHZ or GHZ makes a bette rmachine - then your sadly unaware of the way PC's and mahcines work.

AMD has been owning INTEL for a long time with chips that are "less powerful" by your stadnards...

[QUOTE="kungfuchaos"][QUOTE="jdt532"][QUOTE="kungfuchaos"]Sorry to burst the buble of all the XBOX fanboys , but BioWare has also signed on to devlope for the PS3. Odds are if the y decie to make a KOTOR 3 and my bet is they will, it will e multiplatform between 360, PS3 and PC. This is just one more clink in the 360's armor!!!jdt532

Why does everybody think that Bioware is involved in KOTOR III? Obsidian Entertainment developed KOTOR II and Lucas Arts holds the rights to all Star Wars games and they published the KOTOR series. So it will be up to Lucas Arts what console KOTOR III will be on.

BioWare ALLOWED Obsidian to devlope KOTOR 2 becasue they were too busy with Jade Empire. KOTOR was not nearly as good of a game as the original and its because BioWare didnt do it!!! Trust me when I say that if Lucasarts wants this franchise to succeed, they will ensure BioWare does it. Oh and as far as your contention that lucasarts decides where their games go. You are correct! But remember that Factor 5, another big StarWars devlopemt team..."Rogue Leader ring a bell" is on board with the PS3 and like this last generation, devs will want their games on the system with the most units in the market!

Lucas Arts controls all SW games including KOTOR. It's not that Bioware allowed Obsidian to develop KOTOR II. What happened is when Bioware told LA they weren't developing KOTOR II LA asked them to suggest a replacement developer, Bioware suggested Obsidian and LA went with their suggestion. Believe me however the final say on all SW games belongs to Lucas Arts.

He speaks the turth, and boiware wil lilely never do a KOTOR game again - they want to do other stuff. Besides, KOTOR 3 was in development at LA intself and then the project went into limbo - who knows when it will come back, and who knows what platforms it will be on

ACTUALLY they wont ever do a KOTOR again, they did the first one and thats it. They are working on a 360 game or two, most likely that asian-themed RPG's sequal and something else. ON TOP of that, they are working on a multiplatform game.

No chink in any armor - stupid cow, intelligents is for lemmings!
