a lot of people hate Final Fantasy 13, but i think it's one of the best games i've played this gen next to Demon's Souls and Fallout 3. just ignore the hate and keep on playing :) i like rage too.

they even confirmed this at sony's E3 conference during naughty dog's presentation of uncharted 3; the same time they first announced the subway promotion that no one understood at first.

this happens every fall; you'll get used to it. i usually get really picky this time of year and choose only 3 or 4 . the rest can wait when it's another long ass drought from spring to summer.

i dont think the teaser was necessary since it was only a ps3 commercial; alot of people were probably fooled and thought it's a new ip or even ps4; still, it's a great for what it is: a ps3 commercial ad.

in addition to what desk_jet said, preorder is a way of reserving a copy of the game before it comes out. although it's unlikely to happen for AC:R, reserving(preordering) a game also guarantees you a copy of the game just in case they run out of copies on release day. also, since AC:R will be $60, if you put down $5 to reserve(ie. preorder) the game, you'll only have to pay $55 + tax when you pickup the game.

psn store is surely no steam, d2d or any DD companies. console gaming is not ready for DD.

i don't collect game franchises, but i don't trade in games either. i only own 3 final fantasy, 2 metal gear, 2 assassin's creed , and 1 gears game. i don't regret not buying ac1 or gears 1 since i usually just look up online on what i've missed. if there's a prequel to a sequel i've played and i really want to check it out, i usually buy it though. for instance, i bought mgs 3 after finishing mgs4 coz i loved mgs4 so much.

because people grow old. they used to enjoy games w/o thinking about the dumbest things like having good graphics, amazing story, or superb gameplay. people play games for fun and nothing more when they're 5-10 yrs old, but when they grow older, they learn this little thing that destroys their child hood: criticism :) hence, most people don't see the industry the same way they did 10-20 years ago.

i wonder how people will react once may 31st rolls around and it's still not fully restored(online + store + other functionalities).

they did say that they are "targetting for may 31st," but this just tells me that theres a chance that the target date, yet again, will not be not met.

Batang_X990

considering that they can't even get things back online for the past 4 weeks, i doubt they'll have

enough time to fully restore psn and all its functionalities in the next 2 weeks.
