I've played all three Splinter Cells, but the only MGS I've played is Substance (I've played demos of the the other two). Both are excellent games. I agree that MGS has a much more immersive story and some of the best game music I've ever heard. But if I'm judging the games by gameplay, I like them equally. Splinter Cell has some things I like better gameplay-wise, but so does MGS. I'm playing Substance on the Xbox right now. So back to collecting dog tags...

Mercenaries is a great game. I hope there is a sequel.

Can't wait for this. I haven't seen iMPACT! since it's left TV.

Good match to start it off. Hopefully the rest of it is just as good.

Since I don't get to see Smackdown! till Saturday, I'll probably skip it Oct. 1 and watch this instead!

Others I've spoken to about TNA say that the wrestlers mess up to much, that they can't even throw good simple punches. This comes from a guy that's been watching wrestling since childhood. No, he's not some WWE fanboy. But he said he won't watch TNA again "until they improve."

Ahh well, hopefully they'll give Shelton a 20-30 minute match with either Angle or Michaels now that they've got the time to off-set what will certainly be a heavy on talking Raw.

It may not be punishment, but still is nonsense in my book. While velocity be more wrestling focused, on still do not want to see Benoit on Veloctiy, SEEING HOW HE SHOULD BE ONE OF THE TOP GUYS ON SMACKDOWN. Anways, SmackDown needs Chris Benoit, as he is awesome wrestler and will give you the best match of the night (if given a chance). Look at his recent match with Eddie (which was really good), those are the kind of matches SmackDown needs and are not going to get, if they down-grade Benoit on Velocity.

Agreed. I find Velocity much better than the other shows sometimes just because it has more wrestling.

I agree 100%, one person like me, who actually does not love No Mercy like everyone else does (I still do not see why No Mercy is so great, I have heard why, but still I do not get why).

IMHO, No Mercy is the most overrated wrestling game in history, is was a step backwards for wrestling game in general IMHO. Sure, it was okay, but I mostly only played to get my wrestling fix on.

I disagree with your opinion on No Mercy, but it's your opinion. I personally still think No Mercy is the greatest wrestling game ever. I enjoy the slow No Mercy gameplay. Gameplay was the best part of the game. I never watch entrances much anyways, so who cares if they skip the entrance after the ramp part? Sure the graphics and sound wasn't even that good back in that time, but I can still play the game today and enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, I play the Smackdown! games. I enjoy them, just not as much as No Mercy. Once again, just my opinion.
