First of all Nintendo has always been doing it right! It wouldn't have been there "last chance" thats obsurd.

Now EA buying MS or Sony come one now guys MICROSOFT! HOw many Billions is that???? Sony how many Billions is that?? MORE THAN EA HAS IN THERE POCKETS! MUCH MORE! EA only goes for smaller companies that would only cost them a few millions and gurantee incredible gain. I.E. Bioware, Pandemic small but worth $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I don't think the one console thing will happen, I mean it's not that farfetched but ... not in gaming the whole thing of gaming is variety and competion which is what makes us happy about it. Having one generic console just doesn't fit in this "world" if you would. You never saw people saying "Panasonic's DVD player can play the disc better than Sony's DVD player" or "I hope Bravehearts DVD can play on my Panasonic DVD wihtout much lag" or something stupid like that. Competition wasn't the same.

I do agree that losing Sakaguchi was bad, but I don't think it affected the quality of there games much. Looking at KH 1&2 and FF XII (which I believe was great) I think they still got EVERYTHING they had still in them.

They have alot coming for them this year (hopefully) which I'm sure will sell alot and show the kind of tricks they have up their sleeves:

Last Remnant yeah I know hasn't gotten great FIRST impressions so far but that might be why they've been quiet recently with it waiting to show us some great "On your Toes" gameplay.

Infinite Undiscovery coming in to show us what real JRPG on the 360 is all about

And if all else fails a multiplatform FF7 remake and they could get all that money back without trying I know I'll get it.

WHOA!!! You hit my note!! I LOVED those games. DK64 was my first 3d adventure game! I ENOJYED THAT GAME SOO MUCH even the multiplayer was prety challenging especially the little rumble pit they had AW MAN! And Gaunlet its like only one of the best co-op experiences! One of the few things i like from Midway
