i have been coming to gamespot for so long and never really bacame too active in the forums section, i just used this website to look up games i wanted or liked. but now that i am on the forums i see that everyone and their mother is turning every topic into a battle of the consoles. its really pathetic that nobody has anything else to talk about other than which system is better, or which has better exclusives.

it doesnt matter what system you have. i have a 360, not by choice, just because i got in an accident and had to sit on my butt with nothing to do. so i got a 360. no grudges against ps3, i had a ps2 previously, never even had or played the original xbox. my brother has a ps3 and it is fun to play and has many good games on it. it seems really redundant that people get so personal about their systems. they act as though someone is insulting them when they insult the system thay have. plus they call eachother fanboys which is so stupid.

both systems are basically the same, play the same games, exept for those few exclusives which arent always that good. i would say there are probobly 5 or 7 good exclusives on each system, the rest are crap and shouldnt even count.

so to sum this all up, anyone and everyone who has ever argued about a consol being better than another i just want you to realize the big picture, and that is, your system that you go home to everynight, spend so much quality time with, think about constantly, go on the internet debating about, or getting into an argument over, doesnt even realize you exist. nor does microsoft, sony or nintendo. cause their too busy counting the cash you all put in their pocket. its not like they really care about putting out great games, the developers that do that. if there were developer wars then that would be understandable. but no you just are still fighting over a 3 or 4 year old issue that frankly doesnt matter. but i just hope you all realized that they see you all as fat little piggy banks.

its not the quality of the console, but the quality of the game.

yes i know all about the hdtv and tv switch, did that many a times, yes i have also replugged my cables in a number of times. its very odd. i have it all plugged into the hdtv input but it wont show up on the screen, then (while its still plugged into the hd input) i flip it over to tv on the switch and the picture comes up in regular tv. i will try setting up hd in the system panel, but that wouldnt explain why after months and months of my system plugged into hd and working, that it would all together just stop. i am the only one who plays this system in my house. im fearing that the tv is just shot :(

ok, first what happened was the signal was not going through from my xbox to the hdtv and i thought it was the xbox's fault. i got a new xbox only to find out that the same problem was happening. so i switched to just tv and the picture came through. so now im convinced that my hd component input is shot, does anyone think it can be fixed or did this just degrade into a plain old tv. i would really like to know so i can start to save up for a new tv because i played call of duty on it and it just looked very ugly. lets just say it made the experience very unsatesfying. any input will be much appreciated, thanks.
