One thing that is impossible to ignore in this game is its idiotic onslaught of paid DLC. Look, we all know that Sony wanted to make a Smash Bros-esque game...the least they could have done is give us all the content we rightfully deserve for BUYING the game. Nintendo doesn't pull that shit!
Smash Bros was an homage to the fans; a lot of people got what they wanted out of it. Playstation All-Stars SHOULD be an homage to the fans that have been supporting Sony for so long; however the character roster and in-game content is so lacking that it just fails miserably at appealing to a larger audience.
I don't want to say that they put no effort into the game, however they should have put WAY more thought into this. This should have been the game that became an instant classic for Sony, but they blew it. As a fan of both Sony and Nintendo, I just want to see both of them thrive and it's so painful to watch Sony as a gaming company fail on so many levels.
Here's hoping that they'll actually learn from this mistake of a game.
