Aww, I got the sarcasm too! Do I get 2nd prize, at least?

Also, I would strongly recommend Fallout 3, Oblivion with an excessive amount of mods, and The Witcher for RPGs. Call of Duty 4 and Crysis for shooters. Galactic Civilizations II, Company of Heroes, Civilization: Beyond the Sword, and Spore for strategy. Those should get you started. Or just go to gamerankings.com and sort by average score for the past 12 months.

EDIT: Gah! Forgot Bioshock and Dead Space. Both also very good games.

Completely random question that has nothing to do with the rest of the topic...OP, what's your age?

Oh, and assuming this IS a troll post...well played OP, well played.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if she just left you for being a closeminded controlling **** If you did that to her after a fight, she's probably wondering what else you could do.

Assuming she doesn't leave you/vows you'll never get laid again, just give her the game back and let her have her fun.

That seems kinda high, as well as slightly overkill. I would recommend checking a few other places, or price building it yourself. And 8GBs of RAM? You won't need that unless you regularly run 2 games at once, multiple 5kX5k resolution Photoshop images, and render a movie in Premier Pro in the background for good measure. Even then, you would probably only hit closer to 4-5GBs.

And does SuperMulti DVD Burner with LightScribe Technology(6) actually mean it comes with 6 disc drives?

I've always liked a decently sized external hardrive, and just copying and pasting folders over. Easy and relatively quick.

Btw I know that I should get a new graphics card but I forgot to mention that I'm not from the usa and where I'm from (a little island called trinidad in the caribbean)a good graphics card such as an 8800 Gt may cost around $700 in my currency so That's out of the question. thedarklite

The reading comprehension of you all never ceases to amaze me.

Anyway, I would definately recommend Rome, and maybe Company of Heroes if your machine can run it. Not sure if it could run Mass Effect, though. If you don't mind slightly older games, Knights of the Old Republic is an awesome RPG, and Homeworld 2 is a great space RTS, along with Sins of a Solar Empire. Civilization4 and Galactice Civilizationsare both good turn based strategy games. Oh, and Spore, for a nice fun and simple game.

StarCraft, Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate. Good times. I might go and install BG now that I think about it.

It's been years for me, but I think I usually had it at fastest, or one notch awy from the max.  And as far as getting better, it takes practice and experimenting to figure out how to beat each map.  But that's part of the fun.  Just keep playing, and go online a few times and watch what your opponants and allies do.

And you know, I think I may go install it right now.  It's been ages, and I dunno if I ever even beat Brood War.
