I found the best way was to talk to the friends of the lass you like. If they say yeah, go for it. If not, go for it :-). Just tell yourselfthat if you don't try, what could you be missing out on? Mind over matter thing.

[QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"]

Visually impressive games worth picking up are Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Street Fighter IV andDawn of War 2 just to name a few. Any modern game on a great pc will be quite amazing from a visualperspective, however, game performance can be awfully rubbish for some ports.

I don't think Team Fortress 2 is that visually impressive.
I would reccomend Arma 2 along with above.

Arma2? Yeah, if you have a taste for bugs. That thing is Riddled, dude. Kinda funny as it crashes for the third time in 5 minutes....

I recently got a comp with quad 2.4's, 4 gig mem, and a gig of ded graphics.... 120 geoforce if memory serves.

This was from 512 Mb RAM, 1.6 single core, and a 5200 FX Geoforce. So.

I went for the best of best games. Go for COD4, The Witcher, Crysis, Oblivion, Fear2, Far Cry 2, and anything else that takes your fantasy..... Oh, and try Legendary... Best EVER!!!

Okay. I love video games. I am a boy going into middle school. So... you get it. I have a Wii, DS, and a PSP.

But heres the catch.

I can't get any FPS. Why? Guns. My parents HATE guns. No blood games. Why. My parents HATE bloody games.

Guess what. I could even get Final Fantasy Dissida today because of the Partial Nuditiy in the game. I got the game AND THE GUIDE. THE GUIDE!!!

And when my mom saw the picture on one of the girls she flipped. We went back to the store and returned it. And got Lego Batman. As luck would have it. Lego Batman was... you guessed it. Broken. Since it was used.

So basically I can't get any good games.

What I am trying to ask is...

Should I give up on gaming?

Revolutionary91
Heck no! Try showing them a vid of a few 'tame' FPS..... like on DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters is an FPS with no blood... My mum don't like them either, so I showed her vids of a few. Next day got Far Cry for PC. Nice...

Like someone said, go spastic. Yell and scream and dish out verbal abuse. Yell things like "I'm going to cut you!" while foaming at the mouth. See if you can freak him out. Hell, run around in circles screaming. Maybe he'll be so shocked that he'll forget to throw a punch.

Righto...... I recently started building my own computer, and then my folks bought me a new one. So I had plans for a brand new gaming comp ready to go. So, here is the basics, and what would be good to get.

1. Make sure your Motherboard and CPU are compatible! If not, you just lost a bucketload of money, and have to send it back. The best way to check is to go to the hardwares webbie, they may have a compatibility list of CPU's that will work with it. Like Gigabyte technoogy. (I was getting the EP45-DS3, and the CPU I chose was not compatible...)
2. Make sure you get compatible RAM for the Mobo. DDR2 RAM won't go into DDR3 slot without a hammer. That's usually a indication that it's not gonna fit.
3. Make sure the Power Supply will not go *bang*. 450 Watt is the BOTTOM BAR for Power. For a gaming PC, Go the Corsair Series.
4. The cooling will need to be adequate. Don't get a SLI graphics, and then get stock cooling. Won't be nice. Some of the Coolermaster cases are decent, I was going for the NZXT case.
5. Get a descent Graphics card ( Obviously :-) ) Try and go for the Geoforces, and get a mid-end un. If you can't, get a cheaper Card, and run them in SLI/CrossFire.
6. Consult some of the PCPowerplay Magazines. In the back of them, they have a part called the Menagerie. Check it out. They have different Computers at diff prices for everyone.
7. When you buy your parts, go via shopbot.com and staticice.com. They will get you the best deals.

Good Luck!

Ok, so I have a English class, that requires me to hand a piece on Free Will in. Doesn't have to be religious, but I need help for a topic! Any ideas?

Moppy64
To rectify, I am not asking for someone to provide the whole thing, just a helping hand. I hope to base it on Why violence happens, and why God can't step in, but I can't specify to the teacher what exactly I want to do.
