I'm a new and inspired gamer who wants to start making fun and great games. The problem, I have no experience except years of endless gaming. What are some good starts on being a game designer? What are some good and easy tools to help make 2d homemade games? And most importantly, to you what is fun?

What are some good gaming laptops that are reasonable in price, I cant actually google itand get the answers that i need....

Itdoesnt have to be a miniature monster on crack and steriods that can play cryisis like Peter on Piano(Family Guy reference), just something that can be able to play mainstream games like neverwinter2, or Starcraft 2 like Peter on Piano(same reference) for the gamer on the go?
