On PC if you play a game with graphics on fairly high settings but you don't hit a smooth framerate what do you do? Do you decrease the resolution or do you lower other graphic settings?
Either way you look at it one console can't run the game smoothly at 1080p and 60 FPS.
So you're talking about average framerate, cause frames don't "stream into your monitor" at a constant rate, but rather that it varies. It's logical seeing as some scenes in a videogame are more graphically demanding than others (mostly interior vs exterior) and in those situations FPS drops.
However he did talk about it in an argument Game FPS vs Movie FPS, those aren't the same. Movie FPS is a constant stream of frames while in games it's not.
I would also argue that a dip in framerate in a game going from 60 FPS to 50 FPS is LESS noticeable than a dip going form 30 FPS to 25-27 FPS.
While The Crew does/did look pretty good (the customization looked great), no one really gives a sh*t about it being delayed (at least i don't) cause it is yet another single player game that forces always online DRM down your throat all the while touting it as a feature, just like newer NFS titles did.
These are getting better and better. Great show this week Cam.
While i don't think i really *cared* about a videogame character, if you talk about someone whose story or path throughout a game i would have to say the closest i got was to caring was Clem in The Walking Dead. While she couldn't really help you in the game i got invested in her; in a sense i will get you trough this even if it kills me. And i did, and it did.
@Sidburn19 they should have just kept the designs similar to actual animals and plants (and animal/plant hybrids), not make freaking floating swords or weird looking human mimics (looking at you mr. mime)
