Im also rather tempted myself with the FF13 announcement today. Im a big online gamer, and im still very dissapointed with sony; the community sucks and noone has mikes, its terrible. Im really considering switching, but Ill have to see first what sony spits out in its conference before I make my decision.
From a person who owns and PS3 and a Wii(and whos brothers both own 360s) after today's MS conference, I am really starting to regret getting a PS3 over a 360. All the exclusivity I even hyped about having games like FF13 and GTA4 and Devil May Cry, and now they all went right to the 360. I really feel like Sony is turning its back on the gamers a little. I know the price in producing a game has gone up and all, but any PS3 owner who doesnt feel the least bit abandoned from Sony after this FF13 multiplat move is lying to themselves. Heres to hoping Sony's conference delivers big tommorow.
I'm worried as well, I got a PS3 because I thought this would be its amazing year as many people were hyping. Now that Microsoft is acquiring all of sonys exclusives little by little I wish I would have stuck with a more popular 360.
I very much hope this is the last MGS game. Go ahead and make another metal gear game, but new storyline with new villians and a new hero. Solid is amazing and i love him, but without spoilering the ending of the game, Solids story is truly over and it ended perfectly. I see no way of bringing him back in as a main charater without ruining his perfect ending.
